The all-in-one LED Surface Mount uses an intuitive snap-in system that allows easy flush mount installation to a junction box. 7" round with decorative glass ring. 3000K, 1035 lumens (delivered), 90+ CRI. Dimming with many TRIAC/Forward Phase dimmers. Title 24 - JA8 - 2016. Wet location listed. Brushed Nickel finish.Brushed Nickel finish. Diffused polycarbonate lens controls direct glare from the LEDs. Simple snap in installation for J-Box and Twist and Push for recessed housings. Die-cast aluminum construction with a powder coat paint finish. Flicker-free dimming to 10% brightness with many Triac/Forward Phase dimmers (See Dimming Notes). Can be installed in a 4" J-Box and 6", 5" and 4" recessed housing.. Lumen output and distribution comparable to a 100W incandescent lamp. Suitable for use in IC or NON-IC Applications. What is a Flush Mount?
A flush mounted light fixture is mounted to a ceiling. The fixture hugs close to the ceiling, usually without any gap between the ceiling and the light shade. A close-to-ceiling fixture can work well as a central light fixture, ideal in smaller rooms and hallways where there is less head-room. A flush-mount fixture provides maximum head-room, though tend to be less decorative than a semi-flush fixture. These lights are hardwired and must be installed electrically, operated by a wall switch. They produce good ambient light, although a larger room may need more than one.
