Every year, Newsweek selects their ‘best of’ lists by taking a look at our exceptional customer service, because being treated respectfully, cheerfully and courteously is just as important as finding the right item at the right price.  The goal was to highlight how companies and consumers interact, and more importantly, how companies nurture these relationships.

Newsweek Customer Service Lighting 2023

This year, Newsweek has again partnered with respected global data research firm Statista (a global research firm), to collect and analyze data from 141 different retail categories, to identify stores that consistently provide the best customer service. Whether it's an easy-to-use website, a generous returns policy or just a friendly voice, these companies put the customer first.

The 2023 rankings encompassed 676 total awards for 656 unique brands.  Winners were selected based on an independent survey from a vast sample of over 30,000 US customers who made recent purchases. Customers rated quality of communications, professional competence, range of services, customer focus and accessibility.  Over 200,000 evaluations were collected.  As a result, Newsweek’s compilation reveals the best customer service companies across the board.
