8" Wide Meyer Lantern Pendant
Meyda Co-Founder Meyer Cohen created this lighting design on the front porch of his summer studio in Old Forge in Upstate New York. The Meyer Lantern was designed with a cornucopia of Blues; Greens; Yellows; and Reds in various stained glass tiles. This pendant can be seen in doorways; patios; and dining areas adorning camps and vacation homes throughout the Adirondack Mountains; from Lake George to Lake Placid; to Inlet. The shade is created using the famous Meyda Tiffany copperfoil construction technique. The overall height ranges from 15 to 48 inches; as the chain can be easily adjusted in the field to meet your exact specifications. The Meyer Lantern Pendant is included in our American-designed; handcrafted Meyer Lantern Collection. UL and cUL listed for dry; damp; and wet locations. What is a Pendant?
Pendant lights hang from a ceiling and place strong light over an island, table or furniture. Often the light is aimed downwards to help with tasks, but also outward to provide ambient lighting.
