It's a beautiful fixture, with the white cage that looks old and worn and the black arms and body. It works great with a modern light fixture. It's just the right size for my front foyer. Surprisingly light, which made it simple to set up. It has an extendable chain that lets you hang it from almost seven feet up. Some people have told me how beautiful it is, and I agree.
This white pendant is solid metal with a nice, evenly distressed finish. It looks great over my rectangular dining area table and benches. I just replaced a black fixture with this white cage and it completely opened up and transformed the room, yet still has a black 4-light center that ties in with my other decor. It's a great brightness for over a dining area and the finish is more of a sand than off-white but somehow still works wonderfully in my off-white walls. I still can't get over how solid it is. The cage was fully assembled so installation was easier. It's a great piece and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
