A design inspired by classic Arts & Crafts the Stonington collection features clear water glass for added visual interest and the design appeals to traditional homes as well. It is available in three versatile finishes Mystic Black Fresco and Palladian Bronze which will compliment many color schemes. The Stonington collection is made of our new Coastal Armour material. It is significantly more durable less prone to fading and features finer details than your average outdoor pieces.Coastal Armour is constructed of a composite material tested to withstand the elements: With a core-strengthening ingredient of natural quarry stone crushed to a fine powder and then mixed with a powerful blend of latex and adhesives, Coastal Armour by Quoizel creates the next generation of products by using a material of extraordinary strength, durability and beauty. Coastal Armour has been expanded to also include die-cast aluminum material that uses high-end marine grade paint and passes 800 hour UV and salty/spray test. The hardware is galvanized steel or brass.

What is an Outdoor Post Light?
An outdoor post lantern is attached to the top of a metal post (not included). This is usually positioned at the entrance to a driveway, or in the middle of a large open space. It can also function to light an entry-way if placed close to the building. Light is emitted in all directions. As a hardwired fixture, outdoor post lights are electrically installed and may be operated by a wall switch or sensor. A larger yard may need more than one. They can be alternatively mounted onto a pier-mount adapater on top of a wall.

Mounts on top of a lamp post or pier mount adapter. The post should be the appropriate diameter to fit the fixture. Posts and pier mounts are sold separately.

An electrician or person with electrical installation knowledge will need to permanently wire the post light into the building's electrical supply.
