I wanted to swap my chandelier's 6 natural shade drum shaped shades with pure white shades. These are a slightly different size giving them a very slight conical shape but are a perfect alternative. The shades are a much better quality than those that came with the chandelier. I love the fact that the "bulb clip" is a 4 sided clip, making it a much more secure fit to the candlelight bulbs required and therefore sit much straighter on the bulbs/chandelier. Highly recommend and would purchase again!

This shade includes a Clip-On Fitter for Candelabra bulbs
The top of this shade is fitted with a `Clip-On` fitter, designed to clip directly onto a candelabra `torpedo` or `flame`-style light bulb. The lightweight lamp shade is simply suspended above the bulb by the clip which, through spring tension, grips the bulb gently from both sides. No other harp or fitter is needed.Typically a candelabra clip-on fitter is only suited to small lampshades, usually those found on a chandelier or candelabra, or very small lamps.

Measuring an Empire-Shaped Lamp Shade
Empire shades are typically measured with three dimensions:- Top: The diameter of the circle at the top of the shade - measure straight across.
- Bottom: The diameter of the circle at the bottom of the shade - measure straight across.
- Slant Height: The diagonal height/length measured in a straight line from the top edge of the shade to the bottom edge. Empire shades feature straight sides, sloped at an angle, so measure flat against the side.
