This foil lined shade is perfect for directing light up and down yet allowing the surface material and color to be the focus of the shade. These are both modern and elegant, and worked perfectly on a brushed chrome handing light in our dining room. We changed out the bulbs for LED (dimmable) and the white light is perfect and can be adjusted depending on dining room activity and mood. Other shades are too transparent and the bulb wires can be seen through the material.
Product came quickly. The shades are extremely good quality, better than the pictures. One of the shades in the 6 pack was damaged. I called the customer service line and received immediate, no questions asked help with empathy! A replacement shade arrived within a few days! Great product! Excellent experience!

This shade includes a Clip-On Fitter for Candelabra bulbs
The top of this shade is fitted with a `Clip-On` fitter, designed to clip directly onto a candelabra `torpedo` or `flame`-style light bulb. The lightweight lamp shade is simply suspended above the bulb by the clip which, through spring tension, grips the bulb gently from both sides. No other harp or fitter is needed.Typically a candelabra clip-on fitter is only suited to small lampshades, usually those found on a chandelier or candelabra, or very small lamps.

Measuring an Empire-Shaped Lamp Shade
Empire shades are typically measured with three dimensions:- Top: The diameter of the circle at the top of the shade - measure straight across.
- Bottom: The diameter of the circle at the bottom of the shade - measure straight across.
- Slant Height: The diagonal height/length measured in a straight line from the top edge of the shade to the bottom edge. Empire shades feature straight sides, sloped at an angle, so measure flat against the side.
