Product details: This bell shaped shade has bold black with gold lining thick fabric. Shade looks similar both with the light on or off. No light radiates through the shade but the gold lining helps reflect the light both up and down to light the space.

Height is measured on the slant in a straight line, it is not the vertical height

I ORDERED TWO SHADES TO REPLACE MY OLD ONES! They are so nice....the black really makes the area so quiet and cozy. We really like them!

This is a very nice and elegant lamp shade and because of the lining and black gives excellent ambient light. It was perfect for our bedroom since we did not want or need bright light and the black went with our style and colors. This is a very good quality shade and i would recommend to anyone who wants a dimmed light effect.
