best looking and performing light box

This is the best looking full spectrum I have seen, which means I don't mind leaving out and it gets used much more frequently. The light is a true clean white and is perfect for applying make-up or task lighting in addition to medical benefits. I'm very happy with this brand and the super fast delivery and customer service at LampsUSA.

I have not been officially diagnosed, but I am sure that I have SAD. I am 19 years old, in college, and have suffered depression in the winter the past few years. However, I have been extra stressed this particular semester and have never experienced the depression as intense as this winter. I read about light therapy on the internet and bought this light. Within two days, I was nearly unrecognizable as my mood changed dramatically and felt better than I had in weeks. I am SO happy I bought this light.

I purchased the Happy LIght in October as I wanted to be prepared for the upcoming winter season and less light. I talked to a representative about which light to buy--because I really wanted to get one that would be affective. My acupuncturist had urged me to buy a full spectrum light for SAD, but I wasn't sure which one to get. She highly recommended the Happy Light model I got---and I have indeed been happy with it! When it is not sunny in the morning, or if it's too early for sun, I just have my breakfast and prep for my classes (I'm a teacher) right beside the Happy Light. Within 20 minutes, my whole mood has lifted---as well as my energy. Since I have experienced this consistently, I know it is not just my imagination. For the first time in my life, I can feel happy and energetic even though the sun isn't out. I have since recommended this Happy Light to several others, who are having similar experiences.

About a month ago, my son was diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder (SAD). While looking for some information online on SAD, I came across the HappyLite Verilux Lamp on LampsUSA, and immediately placed an order for it. The great thing about LampsUSA is that it took only two days for the lamp to get here, and I was very thankful that there were no delays in shipping whatsoever. Anyway, I encouraged my son to try exposing himself to the Happylite for the recommended number of hours each day. At first he was skeptical, especially because the light seemed a little too artificial at first to mimic real sunlight. (Even I thought the same myself.) Later, however, he admitted that it only needed some getting used to, and agreed to use the lamp. We took the Happylite and positioned it over his study desk, and after a few days of exposure, there were small, noticeable changes in his behaviour. He came out of his blues a little more, and was not so easily depressed. However, we noticed that exposure to the Happylite has to be consistent every day, as my son tends to relapse into his moods whenever we missed one or two light therapy sessions. Although the Happylite did not completely get rid of his SAD, it definitely helped in trying to alleviate his depression. I read somewhere that light therapy does not work for everyone, so I’m glad to see that it works quite well for my son.

I just bought my Happy Light a couple of weeks ago. And I have decided to make a review after I saw a review from another user of the product saying, "it does not work at all." I just wanna tell her that it works! It just needs a couple of days to see the effect. its worth every penny.
