Usable desk lamp

Pro: The light is not fluorescent; the color spectrum is more on the yellow end than the blue end; light intensity is adjustable; solid base on stand
Con: Overall quality and finish is only average; less light than expected from 100 watt halogen bulb;
For the price I cannot complain too much about the finish which is not as polished and scratch free as I would like. I would have been happier with a switch that could be depressed for on/off and turned for brightness adjustment.
