Carolyn Kinder is one of Americas most loved designers. Kinders parents were in the military, which meant her family traveled to many countries and observed a variety of cultures. This awareness has influenced her work and given her an openness to explore different media and techniques pushing her designs beyond the ordinary and allowed her to develop the extraordinary.

For almost 40 years Carolyn has produced her own line of goods and has designed lines and items for some of the biggest names in the decor industry. She worked with companies like: IMAX, Uttermost, Austin, Sea Gull, Thomas Lighting, Sears. JC Penny, Paragon Art, Magnusen Home, Casa Bique, Lazzaris, and many more.

When asked about where she gets her inspiration, Kinder said, It comes from anywhere, all the time. Im always wondering, what would that look like if it was upside down? She has a way of looking at the world around her and finding something artistic in everything and that is one of her true gifts.

Now she is lending her love of design to create a line of lamps and lighting for Quoizel Lighting- enjoy!
