Use this adapter to convert your spider/washer fitter shade to a uno fitter so that it may be used on that older style lamp that is impossible to find shades for! Simply remove the washer fitter from the spider's center with a wire cutter and crimp the adapter into place over the wire and you have now converted your lamp shade!
